Our Mission & Vision
Giving Seniors A Voice Today—Empowers Seniors For Tomorrow
Our mission is to give seniors a voice—economically, politically, and socially—by creating a community network that unites generations, fosters public and private partnerships, and bridges service gaps to ensure seniors have access to vital resources, affordable housing, and opportunities for engagement.
Seniors Voice PDX creates community, senior-friendly solutions, and events that raise awareness, bring people together, inspire unity, and develop innovative solutions for seniors to age with dignity and purpose.
Through cross-cultural and multigenerational collaborations, we are creating a city-wide alliance: an inclusive community network that develops preventive solutions to complex social problems.
We envision a city where seniors are honored as teachers, guides, and culture-bearers; supported in their homes and communities; and engaged in shaping solutions that serve all generations.
Let’s unite generations by building bridges between youth and elders, preventing isolation and creating community. Providing services that address their needs ensures seniors can stay rooted in their homes and community. Let’s share the wisdom that shines the light for future generations.
