Senior Voices PDX is a people-powered partnership. We connect seniors, public agencies, service providers, neighborhoods, nonprofits, utilities, coalitions, and businesses so good ideas can become practical, lasting support.

We create partnerships to solve complex problems for the good of all.

Our story is inseparable from our relationships. The Senior Voices PDX vision is a citywide alliance that combines senior wisdom with public and private resources. By bringing the right people to one table, we can build trust, reduce duplication, and shape solutions around what older Portlanders actually experience.

Senior Voices PDX grew from a shared belief that experienced community members can help build a more connected, responsive Portland. Anna and Nancy bring complementary strengths in partnership-building, community engagement, facilitation, and practical action.

Visionary · Public-Private Partnerships Specialist

Anna is the visionary behind the Golden Eagle Messengers. Her work is rooted in human potential, ‘Can Do’ empowerment, unity, respect, and compassion. For decades she has brought people across generations and sectors together to pursue preventive, win-win approaches to complex community challenges. Her service in Portland has earned multiple honors, including the Mayor’s Spirit of Portland Award. A guiding phrase in her work is: ‘Search A Little Deeper & Reach For Something Higher.’

Community Engagement Specialist

Nancy is the owner and operator of TSG Services (The Support Group), helping organizations and community leaders with planning, facilitation, events, boards, and project coordination for decades. Her background includes teaching English, literature, mass media, drama, and speech; earning a Master’s in Public Administration from Portland State University; and serving as a Head Start program executive director.

Create a Public & Private Senior Trust

We are establishing a public–private partnership to explore options for a dedicated Senior Trust that empowers seniors to age with dignity and security. Guided by a steering committee of public and private partners, we are united in our mission to protect and uplift our elders.

The Senior Trust is intended to fill a critical gap for seniors facing temporary financial hardship and provide support that helps them remain in their homes.

In addition to direct financial support, the trust will fund energy-efficiency improvements, housing repairs, and essential updates that make homes safer, healthier, and more sustainable.
